Sensory Motor Integration via Occupational Therapy and Physical Gymnastics Training

For over 25 years, Susan Rosen, OTL has worked with pediatric and adult clients, in multiple settings (home, schools, clinics, vocational sites) with a wide variety of neurological deficits, sensory processing disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, genetic syndromes, developmental delays, learning disabilities, orthopedic issues, and social emotional disorders. She is certified in administration and interpretation of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), and uses a sensory integrative approach to facilitate provision of a holistic therapeutic experience. She is also certified in Movement Opportunities Via Education (M.O.V.E.), has a strong background in neurodevelopmental technique (NDT), and uses Brain Gym and CranioSacral techniques to facilitate therapy. In her work with clients within the Autism Spectrum, she has worked closely with psychologists in behavioral programming.

SERVICES PROVIDED

~ Evaluation, assessment or screening - sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills, visual motor skills, spatial and body awareness, postural control, balance, bilateral and whole body strength and coordination.

~  Treatment in a large therapy room with access to gymnastics area - individual and small group sessions using sensory integration, holistic and traditional occupational therapy services; parent, school and/or medical consultation.
